Loxahatchee Club Residence
The development in Florida was originally influenced by John Volk, who set a precedent for island classical architecture. One of the primary goals to the new home was to integrate the homeowners' casual lifestyle into every room while maintaining a sophisticated feel. The first hint toward this goal arrives with the pedestrian-scale circle drive with a relaxing courtyard between the wings of the home. We maintained the traditional H-shaped floor plan to help segregate the social areas from the private areas. Light, bright interiors with custom millwork highlight the water and pool views. The bedrooms feature terraces facing the water, as well as tray ceilings and built-in breakfast bars and storage to maximize space.
