Phases I and II-Expansion included: 90 beds, coronary care unit, new surgery, new radiology and new surgical intensive care units, cardiac catheterization laboratory, free standing M.R.I. imaging center, free standing cancer treatment center and a L.D.R.P. floor. Phase III, new 176 bed wing including emergency/trauma center, endoscopy suite and outpatient testing, admissions and new laundry. Work to date: $60 million.
Peacock + Lewis provided planning, design and construction administration services for this single-story free standing 40 bed psychiatric unit. This unit provides patient activity areas, an outdoor courtyard for patient rehabilitation and relaxation, and it has its own prep kitchen and dining room for patients, guests and staff. This 28,500 square foot unit is expandable to have 10 additional beds. Cost: $5 million.
Peacock + Lewis provided planning, design and construction administration for this 12,000 square foot single-story center with two M.R.I. units and CT scan. This free standing center serves the ambulatory patient through direct access and care. Peacock + Lewis provided planning, design and construction administration for this 24,000 square foot single-story free standing center with two linear accelerators. This center emphasizes outpatient treatments, and its lobby is designed for patient and family comfort.
Peacock + Lewis provided planning, design and document services, as well as contract administration, for this 52,000 square foot stand-alone facility. The unit consists of 12 operating rooms along with associated prep/holding and recovery rooms. This unit has lab and anesthesia support functions that allow this center to be completely independent. The center’s second story contains V.I.P. recovery rooms and nursing unit. The unit is planned for total of four stories in the future. Cost: $8 million.
Peacock + Lewis completed schematic design for the campus Master Plan at St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach. The 10 year building program included a 68,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Addition, 20,000 square feet of renovations, and a 4-story, 142,000 square foot support building which replaces and consolidates the hospital’s Lab, Pharmacy, Dietary, Warehouses and other support services.
