The designer took the ‘Old Florida’ concept and added a modern twist by creating multiple dining spaces that offer each guest a different experience every time. The dining venues include The Grille Room, The Veranda and the gem of the club in the Oaks Room and Wine Bar.
The Club felt the need to make improvements in order to keep up with their competition in the area and so far, all feedback from the members is positive. According to the General Manager, after this project was completed, Food & Beverage revenue doubled in 1 year from $1.8 million to $3.6 million as a direct result of adding the different dining venues. Dining statistics tracked with members dining at the Club 1 time per week prior to the renovations but has increased to 2-3 times per week now that the project has completed.
Golf memberships increased from 17 new members to 70 after the project was completed and the membership is on target to increase again in 2018. There is even talk about capping membership.
