The golf club architecture is a classical European style. The lobby’s stone wall panels, stone floor detailing and mahogany furnishings set the tone of the interior design. A 16′ famous Chinese calligraphy poem from the original building is featured behind the main reception desk. The private dining suite can be accessed from the lobby. Custom wood doors highlight the Boardroom, Private Dining Room and Lounge. Direct access to the remodeled kitchen supports this VIP dining experience. The Main Dining Room was expanded for additional capacity and overlooks the new Nicklaus Signature Golf Course with an adjacent outdoor covered dining terrace.

The “Bear’s Den Grille” is the hub of the Club. Centrally located with a mahogany bar, this “Tea Bar” will support the activity in the Interior Grille Room, Outdoor Terraces and Fire Pit. Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms were reconfigured and upgraded with custom designed wool carpets, wall treatments and millwork. The Men’s Locker Room was doubled in size with new stained lockers and coordinating tongue and groove wood covered ceilings. The décor is an artful blend of Western golf club interior architecture and finishes celebrating the history and heritage of Jack Nicklaus combined with the familiar surroundings of historic Chinese cultures.
