Miami, Florida

Williams Island Club sits in the heart of North Miami in Aventura, Florida. The areas love and appreciation of art, fashion, design, and architecture as well as its scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean, became the designer’s inspiration for this project.

The 5,000 sqft Island Grill is packed with classic design elements with a European flair. As you enter the Island Grill through the grand Porte Cochere, your gaze is drawn to the impressive Oggetti Italian Credenza. It’s stunning curves and textures of inlaid rattan and coconut twig strips, draw you into the dining room. You are guided by the two-toned Lungarno Italian ceramic tile flooring, laid on the diagonal creating the illusion of an area rug, helping the space to appear more expansive that its mere 5,000 sqft.

The Open Kitchen concept allows each guest an interactive dining experience. The warming lights selected are beautiful decorative light fixtures that give you the feel of dining in your own kitchen.

The true star of the dining room is the custom, hand-blown Hungarian Glass Sculptural Chandelier. Hanging from the center of the vaulted, tongue and groove ceiling, the statement piece marries together the classic architectural details of the dark beams with the delicate glass pedals of the fixture.

The color palette offers a Miami vibe and a coastal feel. The deep-blue hues of the glass Chandelier, shine off the soft tones of the acoustical fabric ceilings, the Tundra and Desert colored ceramic tile floors accentuate the deep earth tones of the Potocco dining chairs, and the custom Alex Turco rain drop glass panel, accentuates the deep chocolate, textured Phillip Jeffries wallcovering.

The space continues through the Nano doors onto the covered terrace. There, guests can enjoy a mix of soft seating and dining tables. The outdoor dining area is illuminated by glowing LED lighted planters making the space a perfect venue for a cocktail at sunset or evening meal under the stars.
