After exploring solutions on adjacent property, the membership at The Club at Quail Ridge voted to raze the existing one-story clubhouse and replace it with a new one-story facility with a central entry point. Golf operations were designed into the west-side function space and casual indoor/outdoor living (east-side) was designed to overlook the short-game practice facilities.
The design challenge at this very golf-serious club, was deriving the proper balance of familiar surroundings for the senior members with amenities to encourage utilization by new members and families. The formal arrival onto the front porch with clean, bright, semi-formal finishes is contrasted with a large gathering living room with bold but soothing color palette.
Distinctive design features incorporated into this new facility unify the multiple generations of members including a unique history and memorabilia gallery leading to the locker rooms and golf shop which commemorate the many professional and amateur golfers who are members of this club and have made significant contributions to the game of golf.
