The goal of Vineyards Country Club was to increase membership by enhancing fitness offerings and adding spa amenities. With it’s new Wellness & Lifestyle Center, it was recently designated one of America’s Healthiest Clubs allowing for long-term, sustainable growth and resulting in a major attraction for new members.

A central rotunda/cybercafe creates a central gathering area with natural daylight and interior landscaping to relax and enjoy refreshments between sessions. It serves as a central access to the fitness center, spa/salon, and the fitness aquatics. The inspiration for the finishes and décor palette for the spa was a connection of indoors to outdoor natural environment with calming earth tones of sand and sea. Accent mosaic glass tiles were used throughout the spa area to create a more chic and sophisticated feel. An avant-garde Salt Room was included with illuminated Himalayan salt bricks and salt vapor infusion in a lounge setting to facilitate improved health and mood. The wet lounges for both women and men were designed as restorative, relaxation spaces before and after treatments with stone feature walls of white birch honed limestone. The women’s and men’s spa lounges common spaces are separated by custom designed frosted glass that represents the spa theme of the club.

The fitness center provides cardio, strength training, functional training, physical therapy, spin and floor exercises. The main fitness floor was designed with floor to ceiling glass to provide views to the short game practice area and to provide a connection to the outdoor environment and allow natural daylight into the space.
