Peacock + Lewis Role
As Executive Vice President, for Peacock + Lewis Architects and Planners, LLC (“Peacock” or the “Company”) Tony’s role is pivotal in ensuring that the Company runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, seamlessly balancing the creative pursuits of our design teams with the practical needs of operations, finances, and growth. He will serve as the operational backbone, enabling our design leaders and architects to focus on delivering exceptional work while the business operates efficiently and profitably.
Prior Experience
Tony most recently served as President & COO of Pelican Bay Foundation in Naples, Florida – a fully amenitized community with 15,000 residential and commercial members. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Quail West Foundation from 2016 through 2023, during which time he led the community through a dramatic transformation. In addition to overseeing a $35MM facility renovation, Mr. D’Errico assembled a dynamic leadership team who, together with their Board, successfully transitioned from developer control and repositioned Quail West as the premier country club community in SW Florida. During his tenure, Quail West was recognized with several accolades including, “Community of the Year” in 2018, named a “Distinguished Club” in 2020, and became a “Platinum Club of America” in 2022.
Prior to his role with Quail West, Mr. D’Errico served as the GM/COO of Westwood Country Club in St Louis, MO from 1999 – 2016. He has been a professional member of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) since 1993, joined their Board of Directors in 2007 and served as the National President in 2015 and Immediate Past President in 2016. On the state level, D’Errico is also involved in the Florida Chapter CMAA, most recently serving as a member of the Board of Directors. During his time in Missouri, he served as the Vice President and President for the St. Louis Chapter. Prior to his time in St. Louis Tony was active with the Carolinas and Florida Chapters of CMAA as a Regional Director.
Mr. D’Errico has also served as a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Hospitality Business at Florida Gulf Coast University, an adjunct facilitator for CMAA and several other allied associations. He’s been a guest lecturer for the University of Central Florida, University of South Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Missouri for hospitality business and leadership programs.
Certifications & Recognitions
Throughout his career Mr. D’Errico has been recognized nationally as an exceptional leader, honored with a variety of distinguished awards. He was the recipient of the James H. Brewer award for “Excellence in Club Management” in 2013 and was named “Executive of the Year” by Club Management Magazine in 2019. Mr. D’Errico was elected as a “CMAA Fellow” in 2020, and in 2021 he received both the “Excellence in Leadership” award by Boardroom Magazine and “Facility Manager of the Year” honors by the USPTA.
Personal Life
Tony is a man of faith, passionate about his family, sports, fitness, boating, wine and music. He and his wife Jenny live in Bonita Springs and have been married for 35 years; both adult sons, Nick and Michael, are married to Ashley and Chelsea respectively. Tony and Jenny are blessed with two grandsons, Henry Daniel, and Oliver Nicholas.
