Walter Haims is a Senior Accountant at Peacock + Lewis, joining the firm in March 2026. He brings over 20 years of experience and leads full-cycle accounting with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and clean financial reporting.

Prior Experience
Prior to Peacock + Lewis, Walter worked with a major real estate developer in a project accounting capacity, where he played a key role in managing the financial lifecycle of multiple development projects. His responsibilities included maintaining general ledger integrity, overseeing job cost tracking and variance analysis, coordinating complex vendor and intercompany transactions, and supporting the monthly close process. He partnered closely with project managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy, strengthen controls, and deliver timely, decision-useful reporting.

Education & Recognition
Walter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, graduating cum laude and earning Student of the Year recognition.

Personal Life
Originally from Connecticut, Walter has been based in Florida since 2016. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, music, and film.
