Davis A. Fitzgerald

Davis Fitzgerald, PE, PMP, leads and performs MEP building systems design for private clubs, resorts, and hospitality properties. His work includes electrical power distribution design, service and switchgear coordination, NEC-compliant system development, and integration of energy-efficient solutions. He provides executive leadership while remaining directly engaged in technical design oversight, quality control, and multidisciplinary MEP coordination to support the long-term performance of club facilities.

Davis Fitzgerald is the President and CEO of Peacock + Lewis Engineering. In addition to leading the company, Davis serves as Principal Engineer, Project Manager, and leader of the Electrical Department. Davis is committed to engineering excellence, impeccable customer service, and providing constructable, coordinated, client-centric designs that offer the best value solution.
Prior Experience
Davis has worked in the engineering industry for over 22 years in various roles. He is well experienced in the design of MEP-related electrical systems for new buildings and renovations, design of solar/photovoltaic farms and systems, and managing scope, schedule, and budget on engineering projects. His MEP design experience includes commercial buildings, residential buildings and houses, K-12 schools, university buildings and dorms, theme park buildings and rides, hospitality buildings, healthcare facilities (both private and government-owned), golf clubs, yacht clubs, sports facilities, and amenity buildings.
Certifications & Recognitions
Davis holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Davis also holds an NCEES record and is licensed to provide professional engineering services in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Arizona, and Connecticut. Davis has also earned his certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
Personal Life
Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and children, his dog Chico, and traveling whenever possible, both domestically and internationally.
